Things to do in the Murraylands: June 12-18, 2026
Your guide to what's happening in Murray Bridge and surrounds this week.
Next week, June 15-21, will be Refugee Week: a celebration of the contributions, creativity and resilience of the people who seek safe haven in a country other than the one in which they were born.
This year’s theme will be “courage”, a call for us to come together and share the courage to welcome, to stand for what we believe in, and to celebrate culture and community – to be joyful, imagine new possibilities, dream, heal, and connect.
While the Refugee Council of Australia suggests no current asylum seekers were living in the Murraylands as recently as March 31, up to one per cent of South Australians came to the state as refugees.
Two events in Murray Bridge next week will give a chance to celebrate their contributions.
