School holidays will start this weekend with two huge local events: Murray Bridge Show and the season-opener at Murray Bridge Speedway.

Thankfully there are about a million other activities coming up during the first week of the holidays, too, as you’ll see below.

Australian Superbike Championship: POSTPONED until November 11-14.

NAIDOC Week flag-raising: 10am at the Willow Street precinct, Tailem Bend. Morning tea and showing of Nunga Screen, a program of independent First Nations films, to follow.

Murray Bridge Show: 9am-4pm at Murray Bridge Showground. Entertainment, livestock, competitions, face painting, show bags, rides and much more. Admission: $10/8/5.

Roll Racing Adelaide: 5-10.30pm at The Bend Motorsport Park. Domestic, imported and supercars battle it out to see who’s fastest. Tickets: $20.
