SA Police are on the lookout for an arsonist who set two fires in Murray Bridge on Sunday morning.
A bank of portable toilets at Pine Park, set up for the Murray Bridge Magic family festival, was torched sometime around 3.10am.
Two of the five toilets on a trailer were completely destroyed.
About 10 minutes earlier, someone had set fire to grass, shrubs and a palm tree in the front yard of a house on the corner of Beatty Terrace.
The house’s owner woke up to a knock on the door from a policeman who had used a garden hose to put the fire out.
“We’ve had to call police about five times over the past few months with people out front of our place and over in (the) council car park letting off fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights,” she said.
“We’ve heard the fireworks land on our roof at times … usually after midnight.”
Police have not yet arrested anyone over the two fires.
Anyone with information that might help the investigation should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at www.crimestopperssa.com.au.

Officers tried to pull over a grey Ford Falcon on Robin Street just after 9.30pm.
A check on its numberplate had shown that it was unregistered and uninsured, had been defected, and that its owner had been disqualified from driving.
However, the car sped off.
Police chased it through numerous back streets and finally caught up with it on Flagstaff Road at Brinkley.
They arrested its driver, 25, after she allegedly tested positive to cannabis and methamphetamine at the scene.
She will face dangerous driving and other charges at Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on March 1.
