All you need to know about Murray Bridge Magic, school holiday activities and more over the Christmas-new year period.

Magical fun will be on hand at Pine Park, Murray Bridge in January. Photo: Su Arslanogu/Getty Images.

There will be too much water at Sturt Reserve for the Murray River Splash festival this summer, so the Murray Bridge council has something new planned instead.

The Murray Bridge Magic festival will transform Pine Park into an enchanted forest where wild adventures await.

There under the tall trees, and across the road at Edwards Square, will be laser and water tag, hamster balls, an animal farm, glitter tattoos, a rock wall, inflatable slides, pony rides, an outdoor cinema, clown and magic workshops, a fun run and even a shark obstacle course.

Roving performers, live music, food trucks, bubbles and fairy lights will add to the atmosphere.

All events will either be free or low-cost.

The final calendar is yet to be announced, but something will be planned every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between January 5 and Australia Day.
