Police have arrested two men after a robbery at a grocery store on Standen Street, Murray Bridge.

The men are alleged to have threatened staff at knife-point before fleeing with cash.

No-one was injured.

Police were alerted just after 2pm on Thursday.

Officers caught up with one of the men on Ritter Street, alongside the golf course, soon afterwards after chasing him down on foot.

The other was caught at a property on Burdekin Avenue just after 3.30pm.

Both were 19-year-old locals.

Each was charged with aggravated robbery and refused bail.

They will face Murray Bridge Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Thankfully, no one was physically injured.
