When Pete Dix started his own air conditioning and refrigeration services business 10 years ago last month, his vision was clear.

Premi-Air Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Services offers first time peace of mind.

That means offering heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that you can trust will be right for your home or workplace.

“I started the business because I wanted people to have confidence that when you ring my service company, when you invite us into your home, I can give you ... the advice and the products you need,” Pete says.

“You don’t need to get three quotes, you don’t need to get confused.

“First time peace of mind: that’s what I set out to (offer).”

As the business has grown, Pete and his wife Brittney have chosen to employ people who share their ethos – tradesmen who are passionate about doing the job right.

But they have also been deliberate about what Premi-Air is and isn’t.

They could have diversified into general electrical work or other trades, but doing the job right means focusing on the things you do best.

“We set out on our own with a vision not to get too big too quick,” Pete says.

“We’ve built from the ground up with a focus on what we do well, not diversifying into ceiling fans or wood heaters.

“We do what we do, and we do it very well.”

To this day, Premi-Air remains a family-owned and operated business, based in Murray Bridge, and able to install, service and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems throughout the Murraylands and beyond.

Get in touch for an obligation-free consultation about your refrigeration or air conditioning needs.

A member of the Premi-Air team will visit your home or business for a site assessment and send you a detailed quote outlining their recommended system, the installation process and costs.

Give the go-ahead and they’ll plan and schedule an installation, set things up in line with industry best practice, and leave the place clean and tidy.

Just check their customer reviews on Google – all 164 gave them a perfect five out of five stars.

Recently the team celebrated their 10th anniversary by moving into a spacious new shed on Noel Street, Murray Bridge.

The new digs will give them much more space to store extra stock, enabling them to stay one step ahead of their customers’ needs.

Like any small business owners, Pete and Brittney have learned a lot along the way.

But they wouldn’t change it for the world, and look forward to many more years meeting the region’s refrigeration and air conditioning needs.

“You spend your whole life working, so if you don’t enjoy it, why do you do it?” Pete says.

“I’ve never woken up and not wanted to come to work.

“Our customers are good, our systems are good, our products are good – we love it.”
