The summer holidays are nearly gone, so be sure to make the most of them this weekend.
Families can enjoy an affordable day out at the Murray River Splash festival, which will continue at Sturt Reserve today, tomorrow and Saturday before winding up on Sunday afternoon.
There will be no less than 18 different attractions across the four days, including a waterslide, sumo suits and workshops about the environment.
Then, next Wednesday, it’ll be Australia Day, celebrated with the usual breakfast and awards ceremony on Murray Bridge’s riverfront, and a brunch and awards at Tailem Bend.
Proceedings will start at 7.45am in the Bridge and 9am at Tailem.
