ā³ļø Good scores recorded at Murray Bridge Golf Club
Local Dirk Jesussek has had a blinder in winning Saturdayās menās par competition at Murray Bridge Golf Club, scoring a sensational six-up to edge out Craig Mathew by a shot.
Cold and with a few early showers was what the 93 players had to contend with and scoring was good, with playing to oneās handicap needed to feature in the prize rundown.
Mathew played brilliantly but had to settle for a B grade victory with his superb 5-up.
In the C grade, crafty veteran and former horse trainer Colin Baker put his poor form behind him by returning a bold 4-up ā if he were a horse he would have been swabbed for sure.
Itāll be a Stableford competition for everyone this Saturday.

š« Possibles flow at Murray Bridge Rifle Club
Fresh to moderate southerly winds have kept conditions cool as shooters competed from 700 metres on Saturday.
Target rifle shooter Greg Traeger and F-open shooter Frank Marshall had the best read of the weather early on, both scoring possibles in the first round, with Ian Elston and David McDonald not far behind, only a point off in F-open.Ā
In the second round, however, possibles continued to flow.
This time it was Elston and McDonaldās turn to both get the lot, giving them 119 points apiece.
