Hundreds of people around the Murraylands have kept the fire burning at this year’s NAIDOC Week celebrations.
On Wednesday, family and friends came together for a day of activities, fun and sausages.
Murray Bridge Showground was full of various tents, bouncy castles and games for a NAIDOC family fun day.
The event was a joint collaboration between the Moorundi health service, Ngarrindjeri Ruwe Empowered Communities, AC Care and Headspace Murray Bridge.
On Monday morning, about 250 walked across the old Murray Bridge before gathering outside the city’s council office for an awards ceremony.
Music played, flags were raised and nine outstanding locals were recognised.
Afterwards, the Rotary Club of Mobilong provided a barbecued morning tea.

On Sunday, elders gathered at the Rambler Football Club for lunch.
Outside, on Le Messurier Oval, footy players were divided into Points and Rovers for an annual match.
The traditional fixture has been played on and off for years.

Elsewhere, celebrations were also held at Tailem Bend, Meningie, Mannum, Victor Harbor, Coomandook and Tintinara during or ahead of NAIDOC Week.
One final event will be held at 5pm this Friday: a darts competition at Murray Bridge Darts Club.
Exhibitions of Indigenous art will remain on show at the Coorong Gallery at Tailem Bend until July 25, and Murray Bridge Regional Gallery until July 28.
