Members of the Murraylands’ Maori and New Zealander community have come together to celebrate the national day of Australia’s next-door neighbours: Waitangi Day.

Hundreds of people munched on hangi, kina or fried rewena bread at Pine Park on Sunday while stallholders sold everything from Warriors jerseys to raffle tickets.
