Thousands of people have lined the streets of Murray Bridge for the unofficial beginning of the festive season: the city’s annual Christmas parade.

Hundreds of business people, musicians, volunteers and school students took part in the parade from Bridge Street’s purple jacarandas down to Sturt Reserve, where food and fun were waiting, on Saturday afternoon.

The pageant was organised by members of Business Murray Bridge, in conjunction with AOK Events, the Murray Bridge council and event sponsors.
