Thousands of people have crammed Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge for food, market stalls and fireworks at the conclusion of the city’s Christmas parade.

More than 50 stalls were set up in the park on Saturday, offering everything from Greek and Filipino cuisine to showbags and handcrafted knick-knacks.

Meanwhile, live rock and hip-hop music blared from a stage set up by the Station youth centre.

As the sun set and bellies filled, the crowd shifted over towards the riverfront in time to watch a fireworks show.

The festival was organised by Business Murray Bridge and AOK Events, in partnership with the Murray Bridge council and event sponsors.

Murray Bridge News will have many more parade photos available soon.
