Two members of the Kiwanis Club of Murray Bridge have been honoured for their service.

Inaugural member Kathryn Franklin, pictured, received her Legion of Honours Certificate from the governor of Kiwanis, Roy Seccafien, and the president of the Kiwanis Club of Murray Bridge, Glen Dorsey, for her 25 years of service.

Mr Dorsey also presented Malcolm Allen with a Premier’s Award for volunteering, pictured below.

The local branch of Kiwanis International is celebrating its 25th year in 2020.

In that time the club has been involved in a range of community programs, though it is perhaps best known for the “terrific kids” awards it presents in primary schools.
