Police recover stolen Range Rover in Murray Bridge
Plus officers report three drivers and attend a Welcoming Week event.

Two men have been arrested in Murray Bridge for allegedly stealing a car at Strathalbyn back in March.
SA Police officers spotted the stolen Range Rover on Marchand Street around 2pm last Tuesday.
They followed it to a nearby shopping centre car park and confronted the two alleged occupants, who tried unsuccessfully to escape on foot.
The alleged driver, a 28-year-old local, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and granted bail.
The other man, a 36-year-old local who allegedly had an outstanding warrant already, was charged with disorderly behaviour, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer for allegedly kicking one at the scene.
He was denied bail ahead of a cameo at Murray Bridge Magistrates Court the next day.

Three drivers reported on Murraylands roads
Meanwhile, three motorists have run afoul of traffic police in the past week:
- A 67-year-old Murray Bridge man who allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.119, more than double the legal limit, while driving a Mazda station wagon on Standen Street on Friday; he lost his licence for six months and had the wagon impounded
- A 19-year-old Avoca Dell man who allegedly blew 0.112 while driving a Mitsubishi station wagon on the Princes Highway at Monteith on Sunday; he lost his licence for six months and his car was impounded
- A 19-year-old Murray Bridge man allegedly caught driving while disqualified on Lachlan Avenue on Monday
All three drivers will also face court.
Police welcome new neighbours
Finally, police have offered their advice to a group of 30 new Australian residents in Murray Bridge for Welcoming Week, a celebration of belonging for people from every corner of the world and walk of life.
Crime prevention officers talked about the importance of public safety, and SA Police’s role in making all people feel welcomed and supported, at a morning tea at the Murraylands Migrant Resource Centre last Tuesday.
This year’s theme for the week was “belonging is everybody’s business”.
