Labor reveals their election candidate for Barker

A Tanunda local has just been named the Labor candidate for Baker in this years federal election.

A Tanunda local has been announced as Labor's candidate for the electorate of Barker this federal election.

James Rothe is a seventh generation Australia who is deeply connected to his community.

He is looking forward to meeting more members of the community and offering a real choice at the 2025 election.

He will be up against Liberal MP Tony Pasin, Cody Scholes independent, National party Jonathan Pietzsch, and independent Ian Penno.

The federal election will be held on May 3.
