Other clubs in the Murraylands included the Jervois Netball Club and Murraylands Gymnastics Academy.

The club said they were thankful for thankful for the opportunity through the Play Our Way funding.

"To undertake a project of such magnitude, which will safeguard netball in our community by providing a safe and welcoming playing space," they said in a statement.

"We would like to extend our gratitude to local contractors who worked closely with the club and completed the project to such a high standard, the outcome is a fantastic facility that will provide much enjoyment for many years to come."

Many of the projects receiving funding target women and girls who face additional barriers to participation in sport and physical activity.
