A simple keyring is helping to make a powerful difference for South Australia’s native wildlife, thanks to a heartfelt community initiative and Wildlife SA at Rockleigh.

By presenting a Wildlife SA keyring when shopping at any Drakes supermarket, including the one in Murray Bridge, customers can help support wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.

For every $2 spent, a donation is made directly to Wildlife SA, turning everyday shopping into a real, meaningful impact.

The initiative has captured the heart of the Murraylands community, uniting compassion, purpose and action.

Wildlife SA is owned and operated by Rachel Yeend and her husband Brian, both deeply committed to ensuring injured and vulnerable native animals receive expert care, rehabilitation and protection.

Their work goes beyond animals — it is about people choosing to step in, stand up and make a difference where they can.
The organisation’s goal is simple but powerful: to keep going, doing the very best they can for as many animals as possible.

To help achieve this, Wildlife SA is currently seeking volunteers, including assistance with animal care and administrative support.

They are also seeking sponsorships for animals, cash donations and food donations to support daily operations.

If you would like to help, you can pick up a SA Wildlife keyring at Drakes or phone 0403 269 953.
