Regional Development Australia Murraylands and Riverland is looking for new board members.
Do you want to make a difference in the Murraylands and Riverland?
Regional Development Australia is looking for people with a vision for the region’s economic growth, and the drive and passion to bring that vision to life, to volunteer on its board.
New chair Jodie Hawkes said she would need help to create a more sustainable, productive local economy over the coming years.
“RDAMR is founded on strong relationships across community, industry and government,” she said.
“Over the past three years I have worked with wonderful colleagues as an RDAMR board member and would recommend the role to people who are passionate about driving workforce development, business performance, access to infrastructure and community resilience across the Murraylands and Riverland.”
Board members will be chosen based on their leadership skills, focus on delivering outcomes, business acumen, ability to engage broad groups and to be a representative, and their commitment to the Murraylands and Riverland.
Women, people from diverse cultural backgrounds and people with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply so that a board can be chosen which properly represents the region’s diversity.
Applications will close on February 19.
