Unity college student wins Barker Christmas card contest
Residents of the Murray Mallee region will receive Chelsea Schilling's picturesque river-side campsite drawing.
A Unity College student's artwork has been selected as the winner of MP Tony Pasin's annual Christmas card competition.
Chelsea Schilling's artwork, featuring a riverside camp, will appear on the Christmas card sent out to residents in the Murray Mallee.
The competition saw nearly 1000 kids from years one to five in the Barker electorate enter.
"We’ve had a fantastic response, with outstanding entries coming in from across the electorate," Mr Pasin said.
"I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them all, although it was not an easy task to select the winning entries."
Four entries were selected by Mr Pasin to feature on his cards, one from each region of the electorate: Barossa, Limestone Coast, Riverland and Murray Mallee.

“I congratulate all those students who took the time and effort to create artwork that demonstrated what Christmas means to them, in their region,” said Mr Pasin.
Last years winner was also a local student from Murray Bridge North School.
