Two Murraylands locals have been taken to hospital after separate crashes on Monday night.

Around 11.30pm, a Kia sedan reportedly came off the South Eastern Freeway at Murray Bridge, west of the Swanport interchange, went up an embankment and rolled several times.

Its driver, a 28-year-old man from Murray Bridge East, was fortunate to come away with only minor injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to the Murray Bridge hospital.

Just over two hours later, around 1.40am, emergency services attended a second rollover on Lowan Road, between Bowhill and Perponda.

A ute had left the road and rolled several times into the scrub.

Its driver, an 18-year-old man from Purnong, was airlifted to hospital in Adelaide with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating both crashes.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage which may help should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestopperssa.com.au.
