Murray Bridge discusses connection to Bowhill traders
The Mayor of Murray Bridge, Mr. M W Parish, journeyed with others by motor car along the road leading to Bowhill to Jot Pontt's bore.
Here they met the members of the Roads Advisory Board, members of the District Council of Mannum, and a number of district residents.
The object of the gathering was the taking of evidence respecting the condition of the Murray Bridge-Bowhill road and the need for improvement.
Many residents were suffering from the roads bad condition, and unable to take their pigs, calves, sheep, among other things to be traded.
It took many Bowhill residents two days to get into Murray Bridge.
Councilor Mann from Mannum said if the roads were fixed it would create more homes in the abandoned spaces.

J Hocking won the vine pruning and D Edson won the fruit tree pruning.
