Talk about a busy weekend, from a country music festival and bull throttle to the Callington Show, there's no excuse to stay home.

The Bend Classic will feature country music superstars Kasey Chambers, Brad Cox, Beccy Cole and let's not forget Lee Kernaghan.

On Sunday take the family for a day trip to Callington for an impressive line up of Tartan Strongmen, a cultural display, Drumming Monkeys and loads of food and drinks to be consumed.

And a reminder that the Murray Bridge will be closed between 6am and 1pm thanks to the Murray Bridge Marathon runners on Sunday.

Murray Bridge Marathon Festival: From 7am with start/finish at Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge.
