What better way to celebrate the Murraylands’ ongoing post-flood recovery than a fireworks display that will light up the skies and River Murray on Saturday night?

The fireworks are part of a new four-day festival from the Murray Bridge council, Murray River Glows: A Celebration of Strength and Unity, from June 15 to 18 and centred around Wharf Hill Reserve.

Apart from the fireworks, other highlights (pun intended) of the festival include an interactive lighting display around the rose garden at Wharf Hill and the Murray Bridge town centre, an augmented reality bunyip on the river and a half-day gardening workshop by gardening guru Sophie Thompson.
