Summer is officially here and the weather is not letting us forget this weekend.
The Christmas festivities will continue with the Murray Bridge Christmas Market day, carols by the river and the Mannum Christmas pageant.
But to start the weekend the International Day of People with Disability is on this Friday at Sturt Reserve.

Advance Care Directive Workshop: 10am - 12noon at Murraylands Retirement Village - Jean Jarvis Centre, 5 Pugh Avenue, Murray Bridge. This free information session will help you find the resources you need and assist you to complete this important legal document. International Day of People with a Disability: 10am - 1.30pm at Murray Bridge Regional Rowing Centre, Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge. A day of celebration and awareness with inclusive sport activities, sailing, TADSA adaptive bikes, face painting, a petting zoo, photo booth, the Mission Australia quiet zone, a silent disco and the chance to win a $250 voucher. Healthy BBQ Lunch provided.

Christmas Market Day: 9am - 5pm at Murray Bridge Marketplace. You'll find a variety of local market stalls showcasing local products and market day specials from your favourite stores, plus there's free face painting to keep the kids entertained.

Off-Street Drags + Tractor Pull: Gates: 11am, Cars/Bikes racing 12pm - 5pm; Tractor Pull 5pm - 9pm. Dragway at the Bend, Dukes Highway, Tailem Bend. See some of SA's quickest and fastest street registered cars and bikes. All makes and models, modern and classic. Plus - SA's toughest tractors do their pulling for the first time at the Bend. MMRC and MMN end of year celebration: The Murraylands Migrant Resource Centre and Murraylands Multicultural Network welcome everyone to join their end of year celebrations. From 12pm - 2:30pm at the Murray Bridge Church of Christ, 32 Seventh Street. There will be children's games and gift bags, and BBQ lunch. Registration is essential. Mannum Christmas Pageant and Fireworks: From 5pm along Randell Street, Mannum. Explore a variety of stalls, face painting and discover delightful gifts for the little ones to make this a memorable family outing. Parade starts at 6 pm, and the fun doesn’t stop there. After Santa makes his grand entrance, the night sky lights up with fireworks from 9pm.
