There’s not a whole lot happening in the Murraylands but we’ve found some activities to fill up part of your weekend.

The What Will Be exhibition is starting on August 8 right next to EB games in the Marketplace.

And if your child has always wanted a pet, this is the perfect time to let them make their own pet rock.

Federation Ultra Trail: 7.15am-6.45pm, starting at Monarto Safari Park. The course traverses or loops from the southern end of the Lavender/Federation Trail from Monarto Safari Park to the riverside trail head at Sturt Reserve in Murray Bridge. Distances from 5km to 54km. Late entry fees now apply. Register: raceroster.com.

Dirtfest: 10am-1pm at Murray Bridge Community Centre. Join Landscape SA to celebrate National Science Week and discover the fascinating world of soil microbiology and its crucial role in ecosystem health. We’ll have fun, hands-on activities and engaging discussions for the whole family, including the launch of the Soil Your Undies citizen science project. The Unbreakable Farmer: 2-4pm at the Bend Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend. Warren Davies is not just your average farmer. This free community event aims to bring together people looking for work, volunteering, training or apprenticeship opportunities and connects them with local employers with current vacancies.
