This week, art and science join forces as SALA continues, and many fun(gus) activities are on for National Science Week.

Bridge Arts celebrates the official opening of their SALA exhibit, Random Acts of Artone of many exhibits in the region that are opening this week.

Bridge Arts member Di Dawson said art was a great way for people from all walks of life to connect.

“We are a community group and an arts group, so we welcome all people, whether you’re a beginner artist or you’re more advanced,” she said.

“This year our exhibition has art from a lot of new members and existing members … it’s a real mixed bag.”

Over in the science world, join in on Funky Fungi and Groovy Grasslands day on Sunday, or treat the kids to an after-school session of Science Experiments.
