Speedway will welcome back interstate racers on Australia Day

Sprintcar racing will return to Murray Bridge Speedway on Australia Day – Tuesday, January 26.
A South Australian and Victorian Sprintcar Super Series is running in replacement of the COVID-affected World Series Sprintcars, with support from the Rural City of Murray Bridge.
With border restrictions finally relaxing, Murray Bridge will welcome several interstate competitors including James McFadden, Jock Goodyer, Lachlan McHugh, Matthew Reed, Brayden Cooley, Marcus Dumesny and Jessie Attard.
Daniel Pestka, Lisa Walker, Ryan Jones, Joel Heinrich, Steven Caruso and Mark Caruso will head the local charge, while Luke Dillon has also entered after an injury sidelined him for the earlier part of the season.
The wingless sprints will have their final hit-out before their championship hunt heats up, with the SA Wingless Sprint Title, Australian Wingless Sprint Championship and Wingless Sprint 60-Lapper to run on consecutive weekends from mid-February.
A street stock invitational will complete Tuesday night’s program.
The pit gates will open at 2pm, public gates at 4pm and hot laps will start at 5.20pm.
