Tailem Bend turned up the volume and the revs over the weekend as the Bend
Classic 2025 roared back to the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at Tailem Bend.
From classic and muscle car racing to sideshows, country merchandise, and rides, the event had a real family-friendly carnival feel, keeping kids and parents entertained all weekend.
One of this yearâs standout highlights was the Saddle and Stomp line dancing crew, who had crowds kicking up their heels across the dance floor.
Instructor Elle Giagos of Adelaide, originally from California, said, âIâve been here all weekend teaching new and old all about the benefits of line dancing."
âItâs my first time here, but it wonât be the last!â

At The Bend was Catt Barrow; Donna Alessio and Matt Johnson; Grace MacDonald; Harry Crump; Julianne Robinson; Molly Whitmore; Eleni Giagos; Dylan, Caitlin, Kellie Laherstoffer and Lauren Baker. Photos: Caleb Carter.
Even a touch of rain and the odd storm couldnât dampen spirits, as festivalgoers
braved the drizzle and lightning for a weekend of entertainment and great music,
food, and fun â topped off by a powerhouse performance from country favourite
Kasey Chambers, who praised the crowd for âweathering the stormsâ with smiles and dancing boots.
What began last year as a huge bang onto the country music scene has grown into a vibrant carnival of cars, country and community.
