Dozens of people have helped kick off NAIDOC Week celebrations on Ngarrindjeri country at an event at Tailem Bend on Tuesday.
Schoolchildren and other community members gathered at the town hall to watch short films and share lunch.
Further festivities will follow over the next week and a bit, including the traditional bridge walk and awards, a family fun day and more.
