More than 120 delegates from around Australia have arrived in Murray Bridge for a national news industry conference.
The Local and Independent News Association summit has brought together publishers, journalists, sales people and other industry stakeholders for three days of networking, workshops and panel discussions at the Bridgeport Hotel.
LINA has more than 170 independent publisher members around the country, who between them reach 10.7 million Australians every month.
This year’s event is being co-hosted by Murray Bridge News, a founding member of LINA since 2022; managing editor Peri Strathearn sits on the association’s board.
The summit opened on Wednesday night with a welcome dinner at the 1924 Riverfront Steakhouse.
