Almost 200 people have braved a chilly winter evening to watch a groundbreaking cross-cultural performance at Murray Bridge’s sound shell on Friday night.
Kaurna Yarta married Indigenous dance and narration with a string quintet and video footage of landscapes around Adelaide in an interpretation of the seasons experienced by that region’s traditional owners.
The program was presented by the Bowerbird Collective, Taikurtinna Dance and Jamie Goldsmith, and lapped up by the attentive crowd.
