Hundreds of people have flocked to a careers expo in a vacant building in Murray Bridge’s CBD.
More than 40 employers and service providers set up stalls at the Murraylands Jobs and Skills Showcase, held in the former Mitre 10 building on Sixth Street on Thursday.
Everyone from school students to late-bloomers poured through the doors and stayed for a chat or a free sausage.
Employment facilitator Christine Willersdorf said the event had even raised several hundred dollars for Murray Bridge Preschool Kindergarten, whose children started the way with an acknowledgement of country.
