Jobs and skills showcase will help you find your calling
Meet local employers and training organisations face-to-face in Murray Bridge on September 7, 2023.
This sponsored post is brought to you by the Murray and South East Local Jobs Program.
Are you looking for a job, thinking about a change or planning your future career?
If so, keep your calendar free next Thursday, September 7.
The Murraylands Jobs and Skills Showcase will help you explore exciting career opportunities and gain valuable insights into the local job market.
A wide range of industries, local employers and training organisations will be represented on the day, including Duxton Bees, Big River Pork, the Bridgeport Hotel, McDonald’s, KFC and Resthaven.
The event will be free to attend, and held in the former Mitre 10 building at the corner of South Terrace and Sixth Street from 10am-2pm.
Local Jobs Murray and South East support officer Caitlin Kennedy encouraged anyone looking for work or a career change, or school students planning their futures, to come along.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with local employers face-to-face, hand them their resume and begin to build a rapport with them,” she said.
“They will also have the opportunity to understand the wide range of career opportunities available to them locally: there are jobs across various industries, there is a role to suit everyone.
“People looking for future study pathways, further education or training, or apprenticeship opportunities can also speak to services available to them locally on the day.”
Don’t miss this chance to take the next step in your career journey.
Mark your calendar, bring your resume and get along to the Murraylands Jobs and Skills Showcase.
The showcase will be presented by Workforce Australia’s Murray and South East Local Jobs Program, a federal government initiative; and sponsored by Mas National.
