Thousands of Murraylands residents have observed Anzac Day over the weekend at dawn services around the region.
In Murray Bridge, more than 1500 people attended a service which gave special mention to the “nashos”, Australia’s national servicemen; and many continued on to a breakfast at the RSL.
Hundreds more went to a service at Mannum, and followed a march down to Mary Ann Reserve for a gunfire breakfast.
They commemorated together at Tailem Bend RSL after a service there, too.
