Police pounce on cannabis crop at Murray Bridge East
Plus four motorists are reported for drink and drug driving.

A Murray Bridge East woman will face court after police allegedly discovered cannabis growing in her backyard last week.
Officers visited a property on Kepa Road about an unrelated matter around 10.40am last Wednesday.
They allegedly found two mature cannabis plants growing in the backyard.
They reported the 27-year-old woman and seized the plants.

Drink and drug drivers reported
Meanwhile, police have penalised four drivers for allegedly breaking the road rules over the weekend:
- A 58-year-old Tailem Bend woman who allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.099, double the legal limit, on Station Drive at 8.20pm on Friday; she was reported for drink driving, lost her licence for six months and her Holden station wagon for 28 days
- A 52-year-old Murray Bridge man who allegedly blew 0.11 on Swanport Road around the same time; he, too, was reported, lost his licence for six months and his Toyota ute for 28 days
Murray Mallee police also allegedly detected two drivers under the influence of drugs over the weekend; each lost their licences for three months and will face court.
