Police investigate suspicious car fire in Murray Bridge
Plus officers investigate a clothing theft and report one man for an assault in Adelaide and another for traffic offences.

Police are investigating after a car was torched in a driveway on Swanport Road, Murray Bridge on Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to the property, near the On the Run service station, just after 6am.
The Holden sedan was destroyed.
Crime scene investigators were due to attend the scene on Monday morning, but police already believed the fire was deliberately lit.

Western wear stolen while shop owner voted
Meanwhile, police are also investigating the theft of four boxes of Ringers Western-brand clothing from a trailer on Railway Terrace, Murray Bridge on Saturday.
The owner of the Silk and Sage Boutique at Kapunda, on their way to Saturday’s rodeo at Long Flat, had parked near Murray Bridge North School around 9.30am to cast a vote in the state election.
The trailer was attached to a white Mitsubishi Outlander.
“(We are) very disappointed that people have the nerve to do something like that to small businesses,” the shop’s owner posted on its Facebook page.
Anyone who sees the clothing being offered for sale, online or elsewhere, should contact police immediately.

Man reported after assault on Gawler line
Police have reported a man in Murray Bridge over an assault on an Adelaide Metro train late last year.
A 63-year-old man received serious head injuries in what police described as an “altercation” on a train bound from Gawler to Adelaide on November 27.
An investigation and tip-offs from members of the public led police to Murray Bridge last Wednesday, when they spoke with a 36-year-old man.
They did not arrest him, but charged him with assault, throwing an object in a public transport service and disorderly behaviour, and banned him from public transport for six months.
Driver done for bail breach
Finally, Murray Mallee traffic police have reported just one incident of note in the Murraylands over the weekend.
Officers reported a 28-year-old man for allegedly driving while disqualified and breaching his bail conditions on Gail Crescent, Murray Bridge around 7pm on Friday.
He will face court in Murray Bridge at a later date.
