The Adelaide Fringe, the world’s second-largest annual arts festival, will reach into the Murraylands this weekend.

A highlight will be the annual street party on Sixth Street this Saturday night, with free performances and the usual range of food and colour.

Aside from that, though, there’ll be music, comedy, kids’ shows ... you’d better scroll down and see what’s happening at a time that suits you.

Sing Sing Sing: 7pm at Tailem Bend Town Hall. The Murraylands’ Cabaret Collective presents the greatest sing-along show of all time, featuring chart-toppers, Aussie classics and hits from your favourite bands. Tickets: $20 at adelaidefringe.com.au.

Feelin’ Groovy: 8pm in the theatre at Murray Bridge Town Hall. Harry Baulderstone, Marcus Ryan and a full band present the songs of Simon and Garfunkel after previous sell-out seasons in the Adelaide Fringe. Tickets: $32/28 at adelaidefringe.com.au.

Super family walk-in weekend: 8am-3pm at the Murray Bridge vaccination clinic, 108 Swanport Road. Food and giveaways for the whole family, including Adelaide Fringe tickets, when you get vaccinated against COVID-19; no bookings required; children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Introduction to smalti mosaics: 10am-4pm at Tailem Bend Community Centre. Cost includes base board and adhesive, smalti needs to be purchased on the day, please bring lunch. Bookings essential: $130, call 8572 3513.

Coonalpyn Pool official opening: 10.30am on Peake Terrace, Coonalpyn. Free entry and morning tea. RSVP: 1300 785 277.

Bettong and Buddies: 11am in the theatre at Murray Bridge Town Hall. A young bettong realises his dream of becoming a violinist; meet and learn about some of Australia’s endangered wildlife. Tickets: $25/20/18 at adelaidefringe.com.au.

Street Theatre on Sixth: 5.30-9.30pm on Sixth Street, Murray Bridge. Free public celebration of the arts with Adelaide Fringe and Murraylands-based performers.
