A trail of broken windows has been left around Murray Bridge after someone, or a group of people, went on a rock-throwing spree on Wednesday night.

Multiple parked cars and houses were targeted on Bremer Road and Christian Road to the west and Finch Road to the south.

A car on Long Island Road also had its windows broken.

Police said the culprits were described as driving a sedan, possibly a Holden or other V6, with a loud exhaust.

They have appealed for more witnesses, or anyone who finds similar damage to their property, to come forward.

Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or www.crimestopperssa.com.au.
