Two competitive seasons will come to a head this weekend as the River Murray's footballers travel down to Meningie for their grand finals while pedal prix racers converge on Murray Bridge for their 24-hour event.
Thousands will crowd into both Sturt Reserve and Meningie Oval on Saturday, so be sure to get your spot.

Growing and Learning in the family – parent workshop: 10am-12.30pm at Murray Bridge Library. This is a two-part workshop designed to help families gain an understanding of how children learn, acknowledging their child’s strengths, understand the stages of play and developmental milestones as well as forming meaningful connections through play. Moorundi First Nations cancer awareness day: 10am-3pm at Murray Bridge Racing Club. A day of learning, connection and community to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection and support services. Expect guest speakers including Gavin Wanganeen, stall holders, resources, entertainment from Kev Kropinyeri and lunch provided.
Coorong Connects – scam awareness and online safety: 10.30-11.30am at Tailem Bend Community Library. Learn practical ways to protect yourself online and recognise common scams before they catch you out. Topics include scam emails and text messages, suspicious links and websites, phishing scams, protecting your personal information and online safety best practices. Roll racing: 5.30-11.30pm at the Bend Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend. Roll racing caters to the recreational motorsport customer who likes to drive their car fast and have fun in a safe and controlled environment. The secret to roll racing is not to have the most horsepower, biggest tyre or fattest wallet, it’s to have a well set up car that can get the power to the ground and use it correctly.
