EXCLUSIVE: RSL Care SA plans to re-submit an application to build a nursing home on Tumbella Drive under new planning laws which will come into effect tonight.
RSL Care SA were given Federal Government approval to provide a 72 bed Aged Care Facility in Murray Bridge & will receive millions in funding to run this large business where ever it may operate.
No where in their approval for these 72 beds does it stipulate it must ONLY be built in Tumbella Drive. There are many other more suitable sites in Murray Bridge.
All locals opposing this Development being built in Tumbella Drive are supportive of a new Aged Care Facility for Murray Bridge - it just needs to built somewhere that will not cause major issues to the surrounding residents.
These locals were prepared to argue their concerns at the Trial that had been set down to begin on Monday 22 March, 2021 in the ERD court before a Judge and Full Bench.
