One of Murray Bridge’s biggest annual events will be on again next week – and it’s going to be bigger than ever.

Rides, animals, showbags, music, food trucks and much more will be waiting for you when the gates open for the 2023 Murray Bridge Show.

From 3-9pm on Friday, September 22, and 10am-9pm on Saturday, September 23, Murray Bridge Showground will be bustling with fun for the whole family.

Take a wild ride, play a few sideshow games, check out the ute muster or the shearing competition and listen to a bit of live music.

Beat those tummy rumbles with a visit to the food court, where you’ll find culinary delights of every description – including vegan, gluten-free and child-friendly options – gathered in one place.

Whether it's animals, cookery or entertainment you're after, you'll find it at Murray Bridge Show. Photos: Therese Gould, Murray Bridge Show/Facebook.

If you’re looking for a souvenir or a local business, you’ll be sure to find one among the 100-plus trade stalls and exhibitors on site.

On the agricultural and horticultural side, there will be:

  • Livestock: Horses in action, cattle, sheep, poultry and goats

  • Outdoor competitions: Sheaf tossing, shearing, pets and utes

  • In the pavilion: Wool, home brews, fruit and veg, flowers, cookery, art and craft

And, of course, children will be able to make their way along the ever-popular Bunyip Trail, discovering the wonders of the show and picking up some freebies along the way.

Another popular feature returning this year will be a sensory hour from 10-11am on Saturday, with lower volume levels and free children’s activities.

Don’t forget that free car parking will be available on site, too.

Under the guidance of show president Carolyn Johnson and a refreshed committee – in conjunction with AOK Events and proudly sponsored by Thomas Foods International, Sea Gas and the Rural City of Murray Bridge – the 2023 Murray Bridge Show will be an unmissable event.

Grab your tickets online today to get two days for the price of one, or pay at the gate.

We’ll see you there.

Hoping that the paths are leveled this year around the food trucks and places to eat
