Really great work Peri creating this valuable news service for the Murray Bridge community! Just checked out your community groups listing and would love to see ac.care added. Having a diversity of news services in the region is certainly of benefit for all and great to see you hope to expand your offering as the business evolves.
Well done, Peri, for your first 6 months. I am no longer buying the Standard ... I rely totally on the Murray Bridge News to keep me informed about local issues. One thing missing, that older people in particular would appreciate seeing, are the "Hatches, Matches & Despatches". I wondered if these could also be incorporated on a weekly basis?

Yes, I actually had a conversation with Minge Funerals way back in about May or June about how I might more regularly offer families the opportunity to have obituaries/eulogies about their loved ones published, whether on a paying basis or for free. It can be difficult, of course, to reach every family in the region. But I'd love to be able to do more of that. Births at the Murray Bridge hospital and marriages photographed by locals, or at local venues, might be discoverable... now you've got me thinking...!
