It takes more than words to get things done and at this stage finding a new bypass for heavy traffic is only an 'aspiration' - what the??? Less talk, more action for a lot of things in Murray Bridge!

Yes it would be quieter. Just moving it to somewhere else. The Hindmarsh Road end had the speed restricted 🚫 to 60 right through. As more houses and the estate are being built

Hi Kevin. I agree it won't be easy and yes, the road was indeed there before the housing build up. Wisdom is easy with hindsight but a previous council and administration approved the rezoning of that land such that its now pretty high density housing on either side of a heavy vehicle bypass route with more houses on that Hindmarsh Rd development to come. I support Mayor Thorley's quest to find an alternative route as I am sure most, if not all, of the current councillors do as well. We simply must now find an alternative route not only to reduce road/vehicle noise and improve the amenity of people living along that route but also to considerably improve public safety.
