It is concerning to see the Council advertising for volunteers as guides at the Roundhouse. I was a member of the inaugural committee - Murray Bridge Historical Society - who were instrumental in setting up the building as a "historical place of interest" for the community. At that time members of the Historical Society had a roster system for providing volunteers and were responsible for maintaining gardens, the interior of the building as well as acting as tour guides. This worked well, and I must express my disappointment at that system no longer being in place.
