“That’s fantastic!”

Jac Carslake was rather excited to be named the winner of Murray Bridge News’ subscriber giveaway for July.

She read our email edition every week, she said, to keep track of what was happening around the place.

“I like being able to know what’s going on in the community,” she said.

“I like the political side of things, the good news stories, and I do love the what’s on section.

“And I like supporting a local, local news – I think that’s important.”

Ms Carslake popped into Murray Bridge News’ office last week after being randomly selected as the winner of this month’s subscriber giveaway on July 13.

To thank her for her support over the past three years, she walked away with two tickets to an Elton John tribute show, courtesy of Allsorts of Entertainment; three decorative garden stakes from Regional Profile Cutters; a double pass to a movie at the Capri Theatre; and a Murray Bridge News pen, mug and tote bag.

Murray Bridge News will give away another prize to a paying subscriber next month.
