This Friday, young local musicians will demonstrate their skills by performing different musical genres โ€“ pop, rock, funk, hip hop, reggae and more โ€“ at the Station.

The free, family-friendly event, Live at the Station, will be held at the Murray Bridge youth centre from 5.30โ€“9pm.

Murray Bridge council youth officer Aiden Fargher said that Live at the Station would be the perfect night out for everyone to enjoy โ€“ free of charge.

โ€œA number of regular events are held at the Station throughout the year to showcase the talented musicians in our region,โ€ he said.

โ€œThe Station is a hub for Murray Bridge youth aged 12 to 25 to gather for activities, programs and events focusing on developing skills and community involvement.โ€

The Station aims to harness the talents of some of the finest young musicians in the region and includes two state-of-the-art recording studios and a professional live stage for youth to rehearse and record their music.

Alcohol is not permitted at the event site.
