However, the Newbridge website does mention that "a childcare centre is currently being constructed", so it's a safe bet to assume it was approved in some form. Whether it will offer all forms of childcare needed by the community, including OSHC and vacation care, remains an open question. But the original plans for the centre suggested it would have capacity for 120 children, which would be much bigger than any other centre in town, to my knowledge.
