The 2021 Regional Telecommunications Review that will examine communication issues in regional, rural, and remote areas.

The review will pay particular focus to the adequacy and reliability of services such as mobile data, broadband and standard mobile calls.

It will also look to identify any learnings from COVID, emerging technologies and how there can be development in regional areas.

Member for Barker Tony Pasin is encouraging everyone in Barker to take advantage of this opportunity to have their say on the communication services and issues that matter to them.

โ€œI know how important it is to have access to communications and recognise the benefits for families, businesses and emergency services, living and working in regional, rural and remote communities to have better connectivity where and when they need,โ€ Mr Pasin said.

Community feedback closes on September 30, with further information and the opportunity to have your say available here.
