There’s a new place in Tailem Bend for blokes to catch up, have a yarn, and just
enjoy some good company.

The Tailem Bend Community Centre (TBCC) has launched a new monthly men’s group, with their first get-together being held in July —and it’s already off to a strong start.

Open to men of all ages, the group is all about connection, mateship, and getting out of the house for something a bit different.

Whether it’s hearing from guest speakers, heading out on local outings, or simply sharing a cuppa and a chat, the group will grow and evolve based on what its members want.

Katrina Fromm of TBCC, who’s helping coordinate the initiative, says it’s all about
giving local men a space to relax and connect.

“There’s no pressure,” she said.

“Just turn up, be yourself, and see where it goes. It’s about creating something positive together.”

The benefits of staying socially active are huge —especially for mental health.

Getting out and having a laugh with other blokes can do wonders for stress,
loneliness, and overall wellbeing.

“Sometimes just having someone to talk to or share a story with can make a big
difference,” Ms Fromm adds.

Come along, bring a mate, and help shape something great.

Because let’s face it —every man needs his crew.
