Neo-noir exhibition Out of Frame will open at Ability Cafe next week
Local photographer Caleb Carter will soon put some of his work on show in Murray Bridge.

Murray Bridge and Milang photographer Caleb Carter is set to unveil his debut solo exhibition, Out of Frame, at Genuine Support Services Australia’s Ability Cafe next Friday, August 15.
A keen member of GSSA’s Fresh Perspective Photography program, Carter brings a bold and deeply personal vision to the world of neo-noir black-and-white photography.
Out of Frame is a striking exploration of family, viewed through a lens of dramatic framing, extreme contrast and emotional intensity.
Fusing classic film noir aesthetics with modern narrative techniques, Carter’s work delves into complex themes such as identity, sadness, memory and belonging.
His images are not only visually arresting but layered with meaning, offering audiences a powerful and immersive experience.
Known for his caring spirit and fun-loving nature, Carter has embraced photography as a life-changing creative journey.
His artistic process is therapeutic and immersive, drawing on the peaceful benefits of digital photography to express personal truths and push conceptual boundaries.
In addition to his Ability Cafe exhibition, his work will also be on display at the Coorong Gallery during SALA, giving the public multiple opportunities to engage with his unique storytelling approach.
